bE inspired! Shaping Our City Tomorrow Competition 2025/26
Co-organised by Junior Achievement (JA) Hong Kong and Arup, the bE inspired! Shaping Our City Tomorrow Competition is designed for Form 2 to 5 students and includes comprehensive Workshops and Project Visits led by Arup engineer volunteers, Engineering Education & Career Day for Parents, Video Production Workshop, Mentorship Sessions for Finalists and Pitch Day & Showcase.
Shaping Our City Tomorrow Competition aims to inspire secondary students to unleash their creativity for our sustainable future, and nurture their interest in engineering studies and careers. Students in teams of 2 to 4 will be tasked to create their own innovative solutions on Climate Change, Nature Integration or Inclusive Design, and present their ideas through a prototype and either a 1-minute video or a presentation deck.



Aims
Through this Shaping Our City Tomorrow Competition, students will:
- Understand different strategies to build a future-proof, resilient city
- Design innovative solutions that are sustainable and inclusive to benefit the community
- Develop essential future skills: creativity, teamwork, pitching and critical thinking
